The Disposable Cold/Hot Pack Covers cover the packs in order to keep them from over-chilling or over-heating of the user's skin. The good news is it won't interfere with healing. The user's comfort is a priority as these covers are soft inside and out. They also extend the pack life. Just use it once to make sure there is no cross-contamination.
